Our Story
HornyBills Jungle Trekking is a partnership between a traveller who fell for this forest and Lilik, a local guide who has called Bukit Lawang home his whole life. We started HornyBills to share the whole rainforest — not just the orangutans everyone comes for, but the hornbills, gibbons, and countless smaller wonders in between. Meet the Guides
Your treks are led by Lilik — co-founder of HornyBills and our lead guide. Born and raised at the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park, he knows its trails, its calls, and its wildlife better than anyone. [Add Lilik’s experience, languages, and a personal note.]
